Aditi

I am a psychologist, a narrative practitioner and a couple & family therapist with over eight years of experience. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I view therapy as a collaborative journey and strive to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space for the people I meet in therapy. My practice is informed by intersectional, anti-oppressive, decolonized & social justice lenses. I am trauma-informed, queer, caste & neurodivergence affirmative.
My work with individuals is guided by the narrative idea that ‘people are separate from their problems’, and that meaning is shaped through stories embedded in cultural, relational, and socio-political contexts. This foundation helps me hold conversations that centre people’s knowledge, strengths, and agency, while staying attentive to the broader narratives and structures influencing their lives. My work with couples and families recognises that relational wellbeing is inseparable from systems and people’s collective environment. I therefore, remain curious about how histories, social locations, and intersecting identities shape access to power and privilege, influencing the meanings people make and the ways they navigate their worlds.
My approach draws on the belief that every person holds rich lived experience and that their wisdom can help them steer their lives in preferred directions. My hope hence, is to cultivate environments where people feel safe to share, question, co-create knowledge, and develop skills that support meaningful shifts in perspective. I am honored to accompany and witness them on this path towards healing.
